Mykey volume how to fix
Hi All, I have a 2014 ford F350. Was flood damages, all fixed and running great except a couple of small problems.
One is the volume is restricted to 49%.
Supposedly you can turn off mykey in settings with admin key inserted. I have 3 keys, tried them all no mykey option.
I have IDS so erased all keys, reprogrammed them, still no mykey option. I read that all newly programmed keys are admin by default, is that correct? if so does anyone have a clue how to fix this?
I also have a cloned key programmer, tried that erased all keys, made new ones, still no mykey option in cluster settings. its a new cluster from ford, programmed on installation.
any tips appreciated.

Does anyone know which module the MYKEY information is stored in? I think its the BCM
Its looking like an error in the mykey system itself as opposed to admin keys or mykey keys.
Not only is there supposed to be references to MYKEY in settings 9on mine there are none) but when mykey is active, its supposed to mute the audio until the belt is buckled, mine does not do that.
Tried putting the modules back to as-built configuration, no joy, next to try is replace the BCM and see if that helps

sill struggling here. Was told the MYKEY info was held in the BCM so bought another off ebay. Swapped them out and ignition will not come on, (was going to program new module with IDS once car lit up) I hear different stories of if you can replace with used units something to do with recognizing the firt key that is put into them. I could erase and reprogram the keys, but again, car would need to come alive first. Swapped old BCM back, car works fine.
Any suggestion on how to get this dreaded MYKEY menu back or any workaround for the audio would be appreciated (tried factory reset etc, I get they make it hard to disable else all the teens would be doing it)
