Just bought my first EX!
Picked up a 2002 Limited 4x4 with the 6.8 V-10 gasser. It's black with the tan bottom trim and tan interior.
Never owned a truck without an open bed and I am really loving this vehicle.
It has been very well maintained and taken care of.
I have had it one week today and already wanting to do some mods to it. Going to leave the factory wheels for now and it has 285's for rubber on it, but going to look into a lift... (body or suspension lift?)
Also looking at racks and possibly a bully style bar for the front. Need to do some searches for accessories.
Looking forward to chatting with new people and reading the wealth of information on this forum.
Thanks, Jon

Welcome to the EX family!
You will find that suspension mods are one of if not the most popular mod in this community. Check out the Tech Folders at the top of this page for plenty of info on the very popular spring swap, we like to swap in springs from the Super Duty pickups to replace the shorter and softer factory EX springs. That spring swap transforms these big wagon into completely different beasts.

Not sure what I want to do first. Looking at blacking out some trim on it, like the grill and the tan trim below the front bumper, along with the tan step piece on the rear bumper. I may black out or take off the side steps and go with some separate step bars under each door. I like the bully bars for the front bumper too.
I have been looking at a lot of pictures of X's and have seen so many different ideas. It's mind boggling with what I could do to this rig.
