Goto your Usercp

Then click on edit Signature on the left

You should be able to add one seeing you have more than the required posts and time as a member

Sorry to derail this thread ever so slightly.........

One of the most annoying things about any forums are these "signatures". Without too much offense most are boring and as a somewhat regular contributor here seeing them repeatedly is the annoying part----its good we have the option to change display properties to avoid them

If one does add a signature I'd suggest it not be used as the only source of identification to an owned vehicle if seeking help with DTC's or other specific items.

Just my $0.02 worth mind you!

JWA- I do agree, however it is nice to know which vehicle people are referring to.

Yes I agree with you too Bently---but it still falls upon the one requesting help to give info we need, not up to us to dig the info out. My points are when vehicle info in inside an opening post it almost always gets better replies a lot quicker.

Perhaps too many assume everyone does everything online alike----similar to those believing facebook is used by the proverbial "everybody"......

All this IMHO ya know.......................!

I agree with both of you - Bently and JWA, but JWA makes a better point. I don't know how many times I (and a few other FTE members) had to write back and ask the questioner, "What engine are you running?.....what carb do you have?"

Time is the imperative here...as everyone wants their respective vehicle up and runnin' with the shortest delay. We shouldn't have to "click around" to find the info before answering - that should be given with the question.

......Facebook? Whats a facebook?
