High touque mini starters are junk
I've owed 4 trucks 91 f150 89 f250 and a 92 f250 97 f350 and I've seen 2 92-97 start hard with mini starter nothing whips over like the old 87-91 starter I converted my 97 f350 to a 91 style that has e40d and I can start it even if it could be flooded it turns so fast I had 2 minis in that truck before and I need a really good battery and they both craped out sylinoid quite. They hv that sylinoid so people don't break the nose of starter or gear by hitting it twice but it's another thing to go wrong

89 and 91 starters 89= 5 YEARS NOW HAVE 91 ONES
