Can I put Synthetic in my truck after running reg. ATF all these years? 1999 auto.

MerconV is recommended. Cheapest I found was Supertech at Walmart.

Short answer is yes, your transmission doesn't care whether the base stock is synthetic or not. Just make sure it meets the Mercon V spec.

Yes you can, as long as it is MERCON V. For example, Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF is MERCON V.
