New 450 steel wheels?

Does your dealer actually have the equipment to balance your aluminum 19.5" wheels? This is a huge dilemma I am facing as even the largest dealer around does not have the equipment. It is disappointing to spend $70K and I have to go somewhere else and pay them to do something that should be covered by ford. On top of that, the dealership destroyed one of my wheels trying to balance it and had to replace it. Of course, I had to go to a big rig (18 wheeler) service center to get it done.
I just put on some centramatics in order to circumvent this problem in the future. Called Ford and they don't seem to care and only explanation they gave me were that dealerships are independently owned - FMC has no control. I am not gong to believe they cannot do something about it since they control their dealership status.

I have one as well with the proper cone size. Problem is, the offset of the wheel is the issue which rubs on my machine. I have been thinking about upgrading my machine, so I might as well get one that can do heavy offsets such as dually wheels.

I cross rotate front and rear on my dually. I do it and my first oil change and then every 3rd oil change after that.
Rotating tires and keeping proper pressure in the tires +/- .5 lb has paid dividends over my 55 years of driving. OEM tires will last (safely) 50-60 k miles.
When I traded in my '11 F350 Dually, they asked how long the tires had been on. I said since I bought the truck, 45k miles ago. CAN'T BE, they look new...yea the benefits of rotating and running proper air pressure....

We've always had only steel wheels on our F350/450 ambulances. All with stainless wheel covers. Love the look and versatility of rotating them. I have the same setup on my Chevy dually now. One thing about Ford's F450s and 19.5" wheels. Up to model year 2008, all F450s had 8 lug wheels. Beginning with the 6.4 in '08, all were 10 lug wheels. Then in '11, the F450s had 8 lug 17" wheels and now are back to 19.5" wheels with 10 lugs since the '15s came out. So if ordering wheels and the salesman says all F450s are the same, they are not!
