where to get a copy of my dd214 FREE?

where to get a copy of my dd214 FREE?

Plenty of places online happy to take my money to get me a copy,where can I go to get one FREE? Mine must have gotten lost in the move a few months ago.

You may want to just visit the Veterans Service Officer for your County....if you have them in your state, or: (these links will eventually all land you in the same place.) The first two links just give info and have links to the last link. The last listed link is direct.....

Also, at least in Oregon, the County Clerk will copy it into the records, a separate section not subject to public records or search so at least in my case if I need it ASAP I can just go to the County Courthouse and get a certified copy.
