Fuel gauge way off
My truck will say 10 miles till empty and I'm at 1/8th of a tank and when I fill up I only put in 24-25 gallons. I still have 9-10 gallons left and this has happen since I bought the truck. It's a 2015 F250 with 15k miles. Should I get that check or just leave it alone?

and if Ford designed it to be accurate... people everywhere will be running OUT of Gas.
that was the problem with the aftermarket ones back in the 80's....
History... and Human Nature.. people with 10 miles to go will try for 11 an that gas station will be closed or Very Busy.. and then try for the next one.
you measure gas at 1 oz at a time over 30 gallons and see how hard it is.
<<<<<< You do KNOW running you tank that LOW can burn up your fuel pump..."RIGHT".. the fuel cools the pump.... number one reason for pump failure is overheating.. only way to overheat a pump is running tank LOW of fuel..>>>>>>>>>>>
and running the tank LOW on a Hot day makes the Fuel Hotter...as such.. making the pump hotter...

Mines off too. I had 1 mile to empty and was only able to put 30 gallons in. What's the point of the bigger tank if you can't use it? My 2012 F150 was fairly accurate on the miles to empty. It was nice to be able to take advantage of the large tank size.
The gallons used seems to be accurate. Can the tank be run dry or is there some number of gallons that can't be used?
