yes i have heard several times on the 2" and 3"kt the bumper brackets n NO WAY FIT

oh yeah you wll have to take the seats out too...there are two or more bolts under the drvers and passenger seats... the back seats just move out of the way...but i have seen a few explorers wth body lifts on them and they look good.
try to find a product calles "lift lips" the fll the gaps in engine compartment so you dont splash mud in there fom the front tires

lift kit ?

Thanks Pheonix..........I heard the same thing (bumper brackets)and a search didn't answer all my ?'s. A previous post that i found after posting here (In the wrong fourm i might add)said a 00-01 ranger kit will fit and that trailmaster and super-lift both make the kits(can't locate them).............I guess making explorer's sit even higher then they do is not a $ maker after all the neg. about them (not warranted in my opinion) it seems like most websites list every ford truck but the EXP. ........except the early 90's..........tks 4 ur help!

snags? well take your entire suspension apart and lift it 4 inches...bound to be ALOT of snags...but i think i may leave this one to the pro's simply because if anything breaks because of a bad install i dont spend any more $$$ to fix it.

I think it's something I would try myself if I had more time/$........I don't have that kinda $ to have someone else do it that's why I was looking into a body kit! .....Hey off the subject..........I spent a summer In fayetteville when my uncle was stationed at Ft Bragg after his tour in vietnam (they lived in a li'l trailer park off base).......theres some good dirt track racing down there!!! he used to take me to every track within 200 mi.

I'm having to build my own to watch $$. I have done them before for my f-250 and ranger. The 2.5 o/d works great just need washer to go top and bottem and weld them on. For the steering you can buy after market parts. The lift ran just over 50 bucks.

I do have a fab. shop, And have made some weird things for my trucks.

in your 2000 you can just crank up your torsen bars in the front and get some warrior shackels for the back. it will be cheaper, easter, and look better.... Cant beat that combo
