rebuilt my first gas engine at age 10 (briggs and stratton) 1967
since then i have owned several fords both cars and trucks
I recently purschased (?) a 2002 Ford F-350 7.3L crew cab SRW LB
this is my first diesel (purchased 3-14) and it has issues
when purchased it had a newly rebuilt Transmission (automatic)
issues were that it wouldn't start as easily as it should have even when it was plugged in
the shop where the transmission was rebuilt checked the compression, found the engine was junk and replaced it with a Jasper reman
there were issues that led me to this site for advice
became tired of lurking and some questions are hard to find
i have found this site has more good information than i can find anywhere else
