Bench to Bucket seat swap??
Ok so I want to swap seats in my truck. I have a 1989 F350 RCLB. I want to know what are the best seats out of other ford vehicles. The 40/20/40 seats from the obs trucks are out of question. I will never find them in the junk yard and I will not pay more then 100 for the set. I'm ok with drilling holes in the floor of my truck. I was told I can use seats from a explorer but I don't know what years.

Other people seem to find 40/20/40 seats OK, so that would still be my first suggestion.
The problem with drilling holes in the floor isn't drilling them, it's getting a seat base that fits with the contours of the floor, and then getting the floor reinforced enough where you need to drill. Your best bet might be getting a seat pan for a regular cab or crew cab and then figuring out what seats to mount to the pan.

just stick any Fseries reg or crewcab cloth bench in there up to 96 (97F250HD>F450)
can usually find them in the $100 range.
