Thanks its the factory color. It's the door code eh medium Cabernet red. I recall it wasn't to bad, but time consuming on the tailgate.

You're welcome. Did you weld the holes? I welded close to 100 on my highboy with a lincoln wire feed welder. Zap, wait, zap, burn through, weld up the new bigger hole, grind, weld....

Yes I didn't do the tailgate because I didn't think I could but I payed attention as my dad welded the big holes on the tailgate. I'm a better wire welder know but my main thing used to be stick welding. Can't wait to try tig welding.

For now yes. But as I save money I'm want to do something like a Holley efi with a carbed 300 intake drilled for multiport injectors

I didn't run into any sensor issues on the k&n swap, know this won't work on a truck with a maf sensor because its in the intake. My truck has no sensors in the intake path. BTW went through you build thread nice truck

Lol, well I plan on keeping the stock computer for a while. I'm thinking about a isky or crower myself. I won't spend the money on a fancy computer until I need to.

No problem. But yeah there is almost nothing for our 300s unless we discover or engineer it ourself

Check out the inline six forum here. You'll find more like minded people.

And Clifford makes lots of performance stuff for various 6 cyls including the 300.
