i would say around 11-13k on the truck, and around 3k on the trailer. so probably 14-16k.

It will do it. Watch your EGTs be mindful that the brakes suck

I'm sure mine would do all that. I know higher boost doesn't always equal more power, but mine will hit 46lbs. That's a clean burning, hardly no black smoke, wot run. And I can tow 17000lb in my hot tunes @40lbs of boost @1200 degress in hills.
With all that power on tap when you need it, or want it, I was just wondering what your no load fuel mileage is? Say motoring down a flat and level highway at about 70 mph with no trailer and an empty bed?

Thanks

Honestly Bob, I couldn't tell you. I hardly ever drive it without a trailer on. I built it to tow only, I have other vehicles to drive. My guess @ 70 is 13-14. In original form with 3.55's it made 18 @70. With my loaded race trailer on it makes 9-10. Worse on head or side windy days, better if its a tailwind. Been as low as 7, high as 11.5 towing my trailer. I don't baby it though. I'll push it as hard as I can if needed. The more I did to it to lower egt's, the less the mileage is towing. I push it harder and don't have to lift.

Another question I have that fits into this thread. Truck currently has 182k miles on it.

What problems should I be aware of/expecting around this time?

First thing that comes to my mind is injectors. I believe they're factory. How do I tell when they start to go? Trucks currently running like a top.

More smoke, less mpg, rough idle and missing. Most of the time its gradual and you don't notice it at first.

Mine has about 182,000 on it also. Had it for not quite two years and it runs and starts pretty good so I'm holding off for awhile on replacing the injectors and glow plugs. As to what to expect to go wrong, here are my experiences.

the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve stuck closed on the previous owner before I bought it and he got it fixed. Don't know why he didn't delete it and deleting it is on my list.

The water pump was oozing coolant only when the engine was cold, stopped leaking when it warmed up but I went ahead and changed out the water pump.

I checked the play in the turbo shaft just this morning and there is some play, so my next project is overhauling the turbo.

The mechanical fuel pump seems to be working OK but I'm going to efuel anyway.

Air conditioner compressor seized up a couple of months ago.

I changed out the serpentine belt tensioner and idler bearings just because I was worried about them seizing.

I have a tune that is SOOO gutless that I drive on(when my junk actually runs) that it gets a repeatable 19.5- 22 mpg on solely interstate 70 mph driving.
I don't think it will even make 15lbs of boost on that tune.
With the hydra I have that guys performance free tunes and Andrews "GOOD" tunes for when stuff needs to hit the fan.

Thank you!

I'm averaging about 18-19MPG at the moment.
