What's going on guys,

First post on here, as I'm an Audi guy, but looking for some help for a Christmas present for my Dad. He has a 08 4.6 STX and I'm looking to upgrade his fogs for him. He has always complained that they don't produce enough light. I was thinking a LED bulb upgrade, or maybe even an HID kit. The main concern with the HID's is sticking HIDs in a reflective housing. Obviously thats no good for anybody and I would never do that. I run projectors on my A4 and I love the look and functionality, but for my Dad, he just wants brighter fogs.

Would LED bulbs be the best option or should I think about upgrading the housing to a projector style and pair that with some LED's? I'm open for any and all suggestions.
