local shop just stopped carrying Stanadyne - too expensive when can find on retail shelves.

Best diesel fuel additive?

95 7.3l.

I like the Ford cetane boost (PM-22-A). Less than $9 for a 20 oz bottle at the dealer, which is cheaper than Amazon. It does have the lubricity additive as well. Optilube would be my next choice.

Ford cetane booster has been great for me, and I also add some ATF from time to time.
