1995 F-250 7.3L Independent Front Axle Lift Kit Problem(s)

I have a 1995 F-250 7.3L Turbo Diesel, it has a independent front axle and I have been having trouble finding a lift kit for it, I don't want to block it either, if anyone knows of a new leaf spring and struts, etc. set can you send me a link. Im new to buying lifts and im not really sure what a good or a bad lift kit is.

Thanks, Lane

You will be better off putting a solid axle under it with a RSK.

^^^ agreed. A lifted Dana 50 can be a bear. Swapping to a Dana 60 solid front axle from a f350 is much better. And a stock 350 sits higher than a 250 so it may be all you are looking for.

I have the Dana 50 on mine and am looking to put a 4in lift on mine as well but I was wondering what's so bad about lifting the Dana 50? It just sounds like alot of work and money to find the axle and swap everything out and then lift it

Its a pita to find someone good enough to truly align them, plus your brackets that the 2 axle housing halves bolt to i had to weld straight to the cross member since those bolts like to rattle loose then it makes it a real interesting drive...

Two options, lift the TTB or do the D60.. Search here for dana 60 swap, learn what you need and buy a solid front axle from your local Craigslist or Car-Part.com - Used Auto Parts Market

Listen to these guys, the D60 swap is the "brakes, mufflers, and shocks" of swaps.. Very easy..
