Gas Gauge not working on my 1995 Bronco
I have a 1995 EB Bronco. Just recently the gas gauge stopped working, I have heard that a common problem is a ground wire. But I am not 100% sure.
Anyone had the same problem? I would like to fix it and The garage said I took it too said its the sending unit in the tank,
Mike

Not saying this is an absolute fix, but run some new grounds from Bat (-) to the firewall (hood hinge bolt is good) and one to alternator mount bolt. Heavy Duty soldered lugs on big'ish wire (#6, or #4 is nice).
These old trucks are developing crevice corrosion in the ground side connections. The main ground on the engine is hard to get to. So add new. My gauges all perked up with new grounds, lights were brighter, etc. Can't hurt.
If it does not fix it, it will fix other stuff and then you know the sender was bad ...
Takes about 20 minutes to do once you have the parts
Dropping the tank to replace the sender is not that easy ...
