1997 v. 1994 F250
I have a 1994 F250 with a plow on it that I use mainly as a farm truck. It has some problems (mostly rust) and I found a 1997 F250 that is priced right and was used mainly in the south (mostly rust free). I was thinking of purchasing the '97 and swapping the plow over and using the 94 for parts.
Are the 97 and 94 F250's mostly the same? If there are differences can someone share generally what htey are for me?
Thx.

1997 F250 and F350 are essentially carry-over 1996 models. Nearly everything is the same from 1996 to 1997 models, and these are the same basic design (9th Generation) from 1992.
The F150 changed to the 10th Gen for the 1997 model year, and the F250-350 moved to the Super Duty line as a 1999 model, there were no 1998 model year F250 or F350.
So, getting to your point, I think buying that clean 1997 and using your 1994 as a parts truck is a good idea, and you should find that most parts will work. I think the grill, front bumper, and some interior parts will look different and not interchange, but the mechanical parts should be very similar.
