Bullet Proof Diesel remote cooler/EGR cooler owners advice?

Planning to install the Bullet Proof oil cooler/EGR cooler in my '04, but have a couple questions to folks who have already done it. I'm considering the options they offer for standard vs heavy duty size of coolers, and for the remote filter vs keeping the OEM filter.

Quick background and how the truck is used: original owner, 70,000 miles, oil & filter (OEM) changes every 5,000 miles and fuel filters (OEM) every other change. Flushed coolant every 30,000 and added coolant filter at 30,000. Stock, no tuner or other mods. We're retired so the truck is used mostly for long trips including from the NW to southern Baja every fall and back. Only mechanicals over the years is rebuilt (cleaned) the turbo. I contributed to that because we didn't drive the truck enough (we now drive it at least once a week). EOT/ECT delta is 11.

We have decided to keep the truck long term, which brings me to the BPD system. Driving 2,000 miles each year to southern Baja and back is stressful enough, so eliminating future oil cooler and EGR cooler failures is essential. After making this trip for the past 15 years (since 2004 in this truck), you don't want to have catastrophic mechanical failures in the wilds of Baja if they're avoidable.

So the questions to BP oil cooler owners: 1) Do I need the heavy duty (larger) cooler? Summer and winter temps 85-90 max. We do tow a 3,800 lb trailer to Baja, which the F350 does with ease. 2) I'm thinking of going with the stock oil filter rather than the remote. My thinking on this is ease of service, OEM filter is 20 micron vs BPD is 32. Thanks to any Bullet Proof system owners for your thoughts.
