Beeping noise

Installed!
It was a 95% success
One thing I left out was for about the last year I hear the chime of (key in ignition) all the time when the door is open and the key is out. Besides everything else the clock spring affects that didn't work.
Now the horn works. It was worth it for just that.
THE CRUISE CONTROL WORKS AGAIN!
The key in chime stopped dinging
The airbag light is off, so far???
Now when I crank up, instead of the 5-6 cycle chime, I am getting a few second cycle of the airbag light and at the same time a 3 chime cycle.
But after that so far,, I am getting no airbag light, and everything seems great.

Does that blue box have anything to do with idle speed? Ever since I disconnected that plug in the picture I have an erratic idle, a very noticeable difference between AC compressor on and off, and will sometimes die at a traffic light. Revving the engine in neutral, it does not return to idle immediately when the pedal is released.
When searching for the cause of the beeping I unplugged and plugged back in several boxes under the dash on the drivers side. I didn't encounter any vacuum lines under there. I've disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and reconnected it. Seems like everything should have reset itself by now.
I've also cleaned the throttle body and the Idle air control valve. Checked the throttle position sensor, 5 volts to it, good ground, and a smooth voltage increase from idle to wide open throttle and back down.
I don't think I have a vacuum leak, but I will check the vacuum tree this afternoon when the house blocks the sun or in the morning when it's cooler.
Anyone have any other ideas?

After putting in the new clock spring the air bag was still doing weird stuff, so i unplugged the left side of that box to stop the beeping. In the past I had both sides unplugged.
It had no effect on the idle.
Check your intake plenum, the underside of mine was dryrotted and was sucking air in. It only takes one bad spark plug to cause all that. Maybe look at the idle air soliniod

I had the same beeping and it was an electric connection. Someone installed a pioneer stero with a detach face plate. There must be an alarm built into the radio. Well over time one side of the face plate got lose. And the buzzer chime kept going off and on. It drove me crazy. By accident it was changing the settings and it was in my hand. I never saw a detach face plate radio. Went on line found a book about the radio snaped it on all beeping stop. Who would know an electrical gremlin .
