WTB Dana 60 rear, 4.10

Category: Accessories
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): Prelude
Item Condition: VA
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

My '76 F250 has a bent rear axle housing, so I would like to find a replacement. I would prefer to bolt-in a replacement so I would like to find a complete, drum-to-drum rear axle. Ratio needs to be 4.10; as long as it functions, I don't care what it looks like.

I'm located near Washington, DC and am willing to drive within ~200 miles to pick it up.

Thanks for reading.

I have an axle, 4:10 but has disc brakes instead of drum. Not sure what year but can find out. I'm also in Charlotte, NC but don't mind meeting you in Virginia. Let me know.

Yep, still on the lookout. I did see about the most perfect ad ever on craigslist for a Dana 60 housing, pulled from a '75 F250, for $40. Bad part was it was somewhere between Pittsburgh and Erie, and I didn't have the time to go get it.

If anyone is close, check out the ad:

Regarding the axle with disc brakes - please reply back with what model & year it originally came from. I'll tell you up front I'm not interested in the disc conversion...I bought this truck and it's been sidelined since September with this axle business. I go messing with proportioning valves & such and it's liable to be sitting until next September, haha.
So I would just be interested in the axle. Thanks!

I may have what you need. I took a Dana 60 out of a 1975 F250. I am almost positive its a 4.10. I'll double check tonight. I'm close to Gettysburg PA

Awesome! Let me know if it's still available. I've seen a couple on craigslist in that area of PA but no one has emailed me back.

Thanks!
