Y block Front Engine Mounts

How many different mounts are there for F100 Y blocks? I have one off a 56 272 (small) and a different one from a 64 292 (larger). Then I'm checking CL and there's this.

56 Y Block

What's the pin in the front for? And what if any of then interchange. The rubber mount on the 56 272 is under the vibration damper, the rubber mount is about 1 1/2 in front of the damper on the 64 292.

I have a 55 with Y Block (239) and this mount is not like that. I would recommend going on Dennis Carpenter, Mid Fifty and Mac's to determine which mount is correct for your truck.

That's a car mount. There is a boat load of different mounts. 54-55 are the same then there is 56 is different. 57-60 are not even close and the 61-64 are different yet. Then throw in the car mounts and t bird mounts and you have a mess

Thanks Kevin. I thought cars used side motor mounts. The two I have are definitely NOT interchangeable. My bad because I had the 64 powder coated before I test fitted it.

The cars do from 57 on. The front covers are different between cars and trucks too. You cant use a car front cover with a truck mount .
