fast fuel injection system
Has anyone used the fast throttle body fuel injection or any of the other brands for the 390? Up here in North alaska it gets pretty cold and really hard keeping the carb warm enough. I don't have stock exhaust manifolds or a stock air cleaner. I am working on changing that back to stock and the heat shield.
Thanks

Yep. I went with an Edelbrock E-Street EFI on my '70 360FE/TKO-500. She purrs like a kitten and roars like a lion.... and gets 17 MPG! I chose Edelbrock because they are a long-standing name in the business and the tablet + Bluetooth interface which is really neat..... The digital tuner setting also provides water temp, battery voltage, vacuum gauge info, and adjustable temp settings, low and high, for the Lincoln Mark VIII fan I am using. So basically it saves money because you don't need to buy those gauges nor a fan controller..... the only gauge that is "needed" is an oil pressure gauge. It would be nice if there was an app to just use a plain ol' smartphone.
Driveability, warm-up, and throttle response is excellent.
The FAST 1.0 is good but the 2.0 is better since it can withstand power adders. FAST is a brand owned by the Competition Cams group.
Holley recently bought out the MSD Group (Septemer 2015). I have not heard what will become of MDS's Atomic EFI since it is parallel to Holley's Terminator EFI and I don't see Holley maintaining duplicity because it doesn't make financial sense... Holley would likely want to push the Holley brand rather than MSD even though it is now under the same corporate umbrella.
