I had the IPR in my late build 2004. Oil cooler housing started leaking a while after install because it was cracked. Not saying the IPR delete caused it but after speaking with a few Ford Techs, they felt like the one piece design was not necessarily the best idea because there is no give or play. You are essentially connecting two separate areas with a rigid piece that was meant to have a slight amount of give and play like the traditional EGR deletes have. I switched to a traditional design after that just because. Just my .02

I have the IPR EGR Delete on mine after having another delete kit on previously with the blue hose. The blue hose leaked, like many do.
We now sell the IPR Delete kit on our site have them in stock - count us in as believers!
EGR Delete Kit GEN2
While you are in there, consider also upgrading to the stainless steel bellows on the y pipe to prevent the factory ones from cracking. We can hook folks up there as well - either with just the bellows for you to weld them in yourself or can take care of you on exchange with a y-pipe ready to rock and roll!

New IPR EGR Delete and fresh ypipe, installed by Anthony down at Super Duty Service, btw (what an awesome team he and Julie are!), and we are set!
I sure hope you don't have issues, but if you do, now you know that there's a solution!

Probably the less popular choice, but in my oppinion the safer and a sturdy way to do it; I welded mine. Full support still and coolant flows through, just not hot exhaust gasses to super heat the coolant. And the only thing that would ever fail would be the welds and it would just turn back into an EGR cooler again. But that's why you don't weld freeze plugs, get some good material.
