Dash Board Cupholder-Ashtray Insert

Hey guys....I bought my 2005 Ex new, and always wondered what belonged in that hourglass shaped spot in the middle of the pull out cupholder.

Now...I see it should have some sort of snap in ashtray. I'm guessing they aren't available separately and the cupholders I see on eBay are all costly.

The OCD in me would like to have the ashtray. Short of a salvage yard..does anyone have an idea as to where I can get one?

In the window sticker of the Ranger there is an option listed called "smoker's package" maybe plug that term into your searches. All it is, a round covered ash tray afaik. Same deal for your rig maybe.

Yes Superdave....exactly what I'm after...thank you! PM sent.

Tedster....I remember that smoker's kit..the lidded cup that went into an existing cup holder. I had one for change in my old Mustang.

Well, I learned something new today. I had no idea there was ever an ash tray that went there.

Those people must be tiny down there! They are all at least 5' tall around these parts.
