6" glass round speed glass seal

Reconditioned the 65 instrument cluster and I was unable to salvage the 6" round spaghetti thin seal that sets inside the panel the glass sets into. I checked online part supplier's; Mac's, DC, LMC, Bob Drake, and Truck stop, with not success so thought I would check to see if any members know of a source? Now the 6" round piece of glass does not set flush with the panel, too loose. Comments/Suggestions appreciated!!

The glass is 6 1/8" round. Most people when replacing that just use a few dabs of silicone to keep it in place. You don't need to overdo the silicone, just a few dabs.

Robert, I thank you, sounds like a good solution.

As a follow up and for info purpose only: As mentioned, I could not find the replacement seal between the round speedo glass cover and the metal instrument panel and was about to take Roberts advice of applying a dab of silicone when I came across the old 'dash to instrument panel seal' and did a trial fit and found it worked perfectly. The seal is grooved so I wrapped the seal around the perimeter of the glass cover and once I secured the instrument cluster to the metal panel the unit was snug. Anyhow, thought info may provide food for thought if member came across similar situation in the future.

I had the same problem. I just put a thin, clear bead all the way around. Held it perfectly. No rattle!

Agree, a few dabs of silicone sounds like a good solution and had I not been brain storming when I came across the used panel to dash seal and found it worked I was going to go that route.
