Re-Building our 1978 Ford F150 custom
We got this beauty that our children call The Beast and we are trying to get him running. Every time we turn around we need another new part and we still have yet to get this baby road worthy. We are looking for several parts that are not going to cost us our first born. Can anyone help me on where to go to look for decent priced parts and exterior and interior pieces?

I am looking for both doors, wiper arm, turning signals housings, side marker lights, exhaust headers, dash pad, interior door panels, rubber flooring. We have a new windshield getting put in now. We also need tires and wheels.

Wiper arms (blades attach to these) same: 1967/72 F100/750 / 1973/79 F100/880 / 1978/79 Bronco.
Front fender side marker lamps same: 1973/79 F100/350 / 1975/91 Econoline / 1978/79 Bronco.
Parking lamps (turn signal housings) same: 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco.
Windshield same: 1967/72 F100/750 / 1973/79 F100/880 / 1978/79 Bronco.
1973/79's use a different windshield weatherstrip than 1967/72.

Follow the 1st link and Terry (tcbofade) the chapter leader should chime in and click approved. I will call him in a bit and give him a heads up.
FYI we have a Missouri member map to see where we are located in state. You have a few guys up north in the KC/St Joseph/ Independence area and a few Jy's up there also.

I am in a similar position. I have found Amazon was able to provide some light housing for a very good price. Paid $12 apiece for the rear housing/lenses. Also can get LED bulbs for good prices there.
I use an app called Craigslist pro to search craigslist for parts. Found brand new front fender for $25 locally. The deals are there you just have to dig around. Even between part dealers some significant prices can come up.
Good luck with your rebuild.

I am sure I can locate you a set in my local JY. Touch base with your upper Mo/KC area folks for a local deal with fellow members that will save you the road trip.
I live south of you by at least 2 ish hrs....But I am wiling to still get you a set of bolt and go set and all the other stuff you need if you have no luck.
Or I will gladly take you my secret JY shopping place. But you will have to ride in blindfolded of course. lol JK
