2 Inch leveling kit

I just purchased and put on a 2 inch leveling kit for my 2005 f150 xl 4x4. I just wanted to give a heads up to people that are putting these kits on to make sure and remove that upper ball joint. It really is a simple process if you remove that ball joint but it can turn into a nightmare if you don't and you may end up ripping a cv boot... not that i would know from experience or anything... Even after the issue with the boot i am very pleased with the way my leveling kit set my truck up in the front and I will be posting pics by the end of the weekend! Also since i leveled the truck some slightly bigger, yet still practical, mud grip tires will be getting mounted as well. Just thought I would get that information out because in Tuff Country's instructions they made no suggestion on the ball joint and it caused me hours of stress and headache.

Just put a scoop of mulch in the bed - the rear settles down to the perfect height!

haha thats true! also i forgot to clarify, dont remove the ball joint but disassemble it as in take the nut off of the bolt and allow that upper control arm to raise up so it isnt wedged against the coil spring
