1993 Ext Cab Build

Hi all, haven't been on here in a year but I've come across a project truck and just would like to get some opinions all yall. So how a came across it long story short, I met a buddy in the woods be riding with him for a few months now. But he was interested in my light bar and I told him I had another one. 50" light bar. And we got to talking. His dad gave him a 1 owner 93 f150 xl ext cab. They took the 351 out and trans out and dropped them in a mustang. Now trick has been sitting for half a year. Now yall probably know where this is going. He suggested I trade him. Light bar for truck... So I went and looked at it we hooked the tractor up to and and pulled it out of the woods. It's complete straight body 7/10 interior. Dana 60 rear. And he's got a Dana 44 for the front. It is sitting in 10 inches of lift. His dad used it as a daily driver for a couple a years. My question is, would I be crazy not to trade?

What's the light bar worth? Cause that looks like one heck of a basket case. The frame and suspension have been hacked, the rear might be a 60 but if so it's a C-clip 60, the front looks like a welded together TTB, etc. etc.

That "before" pic was taken before the rear suspension was hacked up.

I wouldn't care what you do with it or the condition it was in, light bar for truck = massive deal for you.

Make damn sure you have valid title & preferably a receipt in hand before doing anything to that truck.

Here is the kicker with the light bar. i bought one for $160 shipped. It had a few scratches and one ding on it and i complained. They sent me another one. I said i never received it, although i did... and they refunded my $160 back. So i have ended up with 2 light bars and my $160 back

I don't want to sound rude but what is your mechanical ability cause that thing looks like a llooonnggg and VERY difficult. That front end looks half destroyed. Don't forget the financial ramifications (I.e. engine, trans , some body panels,) . Does the truck still have all the wiring. Do you have space for it.

Wow, sounds like you need to work on your honesty before taking on a new project.

I would like to have the truck myself just for some of the body parts, since it has a title etc.
That being said, I cannot believe you came on here and admitted to stealing from a reputable dealer who did you right and you ripped them off not once, but twice.
You know, Karma is a bitch.
Please dont let your family and friends read this b/c they will then know exactly how much they can trust you, but then again. I'm sure they already know.

Exactly on what you told him. I cannot believe that someone would brag about ripping someone off not once, but twice.
This is the same type of person that will be complaining and whining one day that NO ONE will Help ME. They never think about the bridges they burn each time they rip someone off. If they will do it to these people, they will do it to family and friends.
