It went smooth as silk

This forum is of great help to many of us especially when our trucks are acting up. I just wanted to say thanks to anyone who posted anything about rebuilding the front axle as I probably read it in the last couple weeks as I prepared to replace the front rotors and check all the bearings and what-not. It went very well and it is all back together. I will recheck the front spindle nuts in a hundred miles or so to ensure they are still tight. The only hiccup was the discovery of a struggling tie-rod end which was promptly replaced. I will attach a pic so you can see why the rotors needed replacing long story there.
And thanks to my bride who let me talk her into the 20 ton shop press last year

Great job, Ben. Those rotors were a disaster waiting to happen. Your bride sounds likes a very intelligent woman. Since she let you buy the press, you should probably listen to her advice more often.
