mysterious rear end squeak

I have 1990 f250 hd that has a small squeaking noise that follows the rotation of the tires. When i brake the sound goes away. The bearings and seals are new at the hubs. Checked to see if anything is caught in the brakes. Theres nothing. What could it be?

^ & Possibly the driveshaft carrier bearing if your truck uses one. my 95 does. They can make different noises depending on how the driveshaft is loaded.

Possible but why would it disappear when the brakes are applied?

Look at them closely. See if therebis a rust colored residue where the rubber seals are.
If you dont see anything you can remove the driveshaft and see if they move freely.
u joints usually saeak at a higher frequency than tire speed. Is the noise once per revolution
or 3-4? You could get someone to drive past you as you listen for the noise. You should be able to tell
what area or side it is coming from.

I don't know if I am on the right thread but I have a 2013 f-150 that has a noise coming from the leaf springs. What can I do to rid my truck of the noise?
