My truck bumper pull weight is 10,700 and fifth wheel weight is 9900 according to the charts. I imagine the difference is due to hitch weight, though I'm sure someone with more information can chime in. (also I know 5th wheel and gooseneck aren't quite the same, but both put the hitch weight in the bed).
my uncle would pull his 26ft boat behind a chevy S10 that had a V6; he said that couldn't go over hills and if he did, he was doing 40mph uphill because that's what the transmission could handle; what I'm getting at is the F150 does better than the S10 but only so much better before you need something HD...
I have a 17ft toy hauler that weighs 3,000lbs dry; it feels like I'm pulling a bit of weight and need a sway bar (it does help some) I'm actually looking to downsize my RV even more to where it weighs 1,000lb up to 1,500lbs. But, the '14 does pull the RV like there's nothing there, I did tow it briefly on the '16 not much difference in handling.
2015 XLT Sport, 5.0 Screw. Mods = Gibson dual sport stainless exhaust, 2 1/2 inch leveling kit, Retrax locking bed cover, 20 x 10 Fuel Wheels with 315 / 55 / 20 inch Nitto G2's. Loving it, I traded my 2013 Supercharged Audi Q7 for it (hated it, not my style)
I couldn't agree with you more. Absolutely love the look of that truck. I was a fan of those wheels when they first came out, but they quickly were overused. The look pretty decent with that truck though.
It is the Napier Backroadz tent. Fit and set-up is fantastic. Even with the Bakflip VP cover, no issues.
I recommend either the factory tailgate step or bringing a step stool. Next time I'll bring a step stool for that 4:00 am nature call.

How well do you fit in it? Seems like the 5.5' bed would get cramped fast. Obviously the tailgate is down, but how do you deal with the gap between the bed and tailgate?

I have the Air Bed Lite truck bed air mattress. It fills up the entire truck bed and goes about 4-6" over the gap. I'm 5'10", the ol' lady is 5'0", no issues for us. Could likely fit a small child or maybe a 25-30 pound dog, especially if they could be set up with additional cushioning on the tailgate. Beyond that would be cramped for sure.

Very nice. Thanks for the info. I've always liked the idea, but was curious how well it worked with the shorter bed. I've never had a truck with less than an 8' bed.
Picked up a new 2016 F150 regular cab XLT with the 5.0 Texas Edition. As loaded as you can get a regular cab. Have been wanting one since 2015 but there were none available in my area. This year has been a lot better with availability.
