Hopefully someone can give me some insight on this. I left the dealership last Friday after getting my routine oil change. At the next light, I took off like normal. At just over 2200 RPMS, in all gears, there was a significant whine from what sounded like the transmission.

I had no choice but to pick up a trailer that I had stored at a friends house. If i kept the RPMS under 2k the whine would not show up. I drove another 30 miles home pulling the trailer. It was still whining whenever I got above 2k RPMS.

Saturday I drove approximately 250 miles up north with the trailer and a snowmobile in it. Once again, the whine was still there, but i just continued to keep the RPMS down.

This morning, on my way into work the whine was gone!...I didnt necessarily put the motor and transmission to full load, but I had it up to 4k RPMS and there was "0" whine. The truck felt great. Transmission was shifting perfectly...basically acting like there were no issues.

What would be the cause of this? It was perfectly fine before the dealership worked on it, but I cant imagine that anything could of happened while getting a simple oil change?
