The dead or dying dodge.
So my buddies 2012 Ram 6.7L has been over heating on us. We flushed the radiator it was disgusting and checked for any leaks. Nothing so we added fresh long life coolant and some water wetter and all was good. Until a week later, we replaced the thernmostat and topped it off. Again all was good for about a week. I noticed it would spill out of the reservoir but never suck any back. The cap must be it. Put a new cap and all was good again. For another week...
Now we're thinking it's the headgasket and since he has an extended warranty plan we want to take it to a shop that will do the repair and we can provide the heavy duty parts like head studs and what ever else it'll need.
Does anyone know a reputable shop local to Los Angeles, Long Beach, or Orange County area that can work on this truck with a warranty plan?
It kind of sucks to sit here with my old 7.3L and laugh at him a bit...

Bob, Domestic Diesel in Chino is good with Cummins as well as Powerstrokes. I would take it there.
As far as warranty, that's going to depend on the terms of the warranty. If it's a Dodge warranty, probably only good at Dodge dealerships. If it's an aftermarket warranty, probably not very good anywhere.
And I agree that it sounds like a head gasket has failed.
