DPF DELETE PROBLEM!!!
I'm new and need some serious help. Gotta go to work tomorrow, but tried doing the flo pro dpf delete. Got it installed and installed the street tune with the sct x4. My truck beeps at me and display says stop safely now and it won't start. I'm bummed, pissed off, and hope to god someone can help me soon...

It sounds like the tune you installed is not a delete tune. You may want to contact your tuner (the company from whom you purchased your tuner and tunes). Until then, you will likely need to put everything back together. A delete tune should disable the EGT sensors, so when they are unplugged, the computer doesn't do the dreaded "stop safely now" that you got.

so none of the major diesel companies offer custom tunes due to epa rules whatever. can someone just please point me in the direction of someone who can build a custom tune and send it to me> i will pay for etc. people are doing it to their new trucks but i dont know who and where to find it.

when you got your tuner for doing the delete . did it have a install me first file ? some of the tuners once you upload the tunes to the tuner , one will be a install me first then the other tune you wish for I.E. 40 hp or 80 , etc. the install me first tune does the DEF/ DPF delete portion
see this on some website while I have been doing research to see if I wanna do a delete or not..

I had the exact same issue the SCT x4 delete tuners only delete in the race tune your other three tunes are junk even though it's a "delete tuner" kinda ticked me off if anyone can tell me I'm wrong, please do cause I don't wanna buy new tow tunes. Also it says it will turn off tpms sensors, haven't found that yet either. You can change what it's set for but not turn it off.
