hey guys..been a while..do i have to take the fuel tank out??..loading my camper in the yard to go away on a trip and peddle to the floor..line in broke just above juntion above the axle behind the fuel tank..can i bypass it if i have to take tank out??

Not long ago, I replaced all of the hard lines in the truck without removing anything except the old lines, but had to use a union to join the two lines that came im the kit to reach the rear brakes. If one line blew, more are sure to follow.

 

thx buckhammer..i dont think there is a kit available here..how long a line should i get then?.ill grab a union with 2 lines in the meantime..i think i can only get those flexable one size fits all brake lines..where i am anyhow..ill let you know how it goes

 

i only use the alloy lines for the past 10 years. i used to have to replace lines every other year, since i started using the alloy lines, i have not replaced one once it was put in.

 

got it done..spliced 2 - 5' foot sections with a 3'..liter of brake fluid..23$..good to go
