I am driving a 300 inline with 3 speed on the column.
From a stop, the truck jolts as I let out the clutch.
I think the flywheel needs resurfacing. Could this be the issue?

 

I would bet if the flywheel is in bad shape, the clutch and pressure-plate could be too. Did this happen all the sudden? Like after you towed something heavy? A burnt or glazed clutch (and flywheel) would be the things I'd look at if the engagement is not smooth. good luck!

 

I agree with MarkinTexas.

Loose or broken motor mounts and transmission can cause the same symptoms, as will a number of other things.

A bit more info on when the history of problem will help diagnose the cause.

 

Oil contamination on the clutch plate will also cause grabbing.
