[QUOTE=hturner12;15519141]Low here was low 60's again last night. I had to turn off the fan in the window in the middle of the night because I was chilly... The climate here is a world different than even just 1 hour away in any direction. Nice, steady rain today is beautiful. I love how GREEN everything gets after a good soaker like this.
Great news Chief!!!!

Lol. We get just enough snow it's a novelty. Love when all the schools, businesses, etc close so we can play in it!
This is our sledding/tubing hill. To the right of center is a looong run with a big flat area at the bottom to slow down before ya hit the creek.

We have a 7 degree difference between the mountain and the valley temps. Days like today 95+ before humidity, it doesn't mean anything. Having pop up showers every evening this week just adds to the misery. Thanks for rubbing it in Jason, lol.
Safe travels home Chief!

Thanks Guys!!
Flight out is tomorrow!!! I will be out of the net for a few days until I make it to Kuwait. They are saying the average daytime temp is around 120 in Kuwait, lovely. My wife and daughter loved the snow we got over the winter. We use to live in South Georgia so it was a real treat.

Today was productive. This morning and early afternoon fixed a bacup light that had came out of the socket, put led tag lights on. I was to go help a friend that I got the truck from finish up some stuff at his place before he goes back to NC in a few days. He called abut 5 to say was too hot. Asked me what I was doing told him just little stuff to the truck, I went picked him.. He was going g to help drop my tanks. We did not get started til, after 9 PM
The aft tank the sending unit seal was leaking and the vent valve was loose. The replaced the seal and RTVED around the vent valve. It only took 2 hours on the aft tank. 11:00 we stared on the front tank thought it would be easy 1:55 am. We were done. The fill hose had came off at the tank. I went ahead and replace the sending unit seal. Now the butt kicker that stupid hard plastic hose in the filler neck.. 1st attempt take fill neck
of the truck put on tank then put everything up.WRONG 2. Pull plastic pipe out of rubber put rubber on tank 1sr attempt poped right on the tank an hour later realized we had hose on backwards. Attempt #2 hose going right way could not it on the tank. 3rd attempt took heat gun heat end of hose. All we had to do was hang the tank and feed plastic tube back in rubber hosr. Got the tank hung and hooked up could not get pipe all the way in. Final solution took hacksaw to plastic pipe ,let enough to start in to rubber hose.
Now 30 minutes in the shower to get all the grease and grime off.

The reason the snow is only showing is my grass is a lot shorter then the field next door. Finally made it to Kuwait yesterday and It is Oh My God hot here. It has been over 120 degrees the last 2 days, it feels like a convection oven with the wind blowing. I try not to venture out too much during daylight hours, except to eat lunch. I will be back in the USA on Sunday !!!!

Hey Guys!!
Getting ready to head out in a few hours!! I am going to start a new monthly thread before I hit the sack. It was 118 today and with the wind blowing it was miserable. I hope everyone is doing good and I will talk to you all when I am back in the real world.
