early sports utes

I wuz gunna get the IH 800 back in '83 when I purchased my '70 bronk. I wanted the IH because of the way it looked (I needed a sm 4WD as a 1-@-a-time home contractor) and the Heep wuz wat too small/tippy. I bought the Ford due 2 what I thought was a law ("don't hafta supply parts 7 yrs + after going out of business") and IH's closure of their pass. truck manafacturing. Since I have come to know the vehicle I have come to enjoy it in pretty deep detail (esp the "engine family", as worded by the company).

I still like the looks of the IH (more?, yeah, I think so). Pretty glad I didn't get it - a few friends have Scouts (not the 800 tho).
