460 Smogger Street Cam

I have a 1973 F-100 with an early 70's low compression Lincoln motor in it. I want to change the timing gear set so it isn't so badly retarded and get it up to pre 70's spec. I also have some C8VE-E heads off of a 429 CobraJet that I want to install to get the compression up.

So as long as I am doing all this work it seems to make sense to swap the cam out as well. What is a good streetable cam to throw in there? This is not meant to be a race car, just a fast ride to the home improvement store and used lightly. I will be using a stock C-6 trans. Thanks!

Give a call to Comp cams, or Lunati. Tell them your application, and they will tell you exactly what cam you need. They are very good at explaining things to valvetrain dummies like myself.
