Right cam for 460

Right cam for 460
I posted up in the performance section but got no responce. I need to know what kind of cam would be best for a 460 with police interceptor heads on it. Don't want an agressive setup. I want a every-day car. Also want it to idle good. It has a crane cam but don't idle good. Thanks for any input! Benjamin

For best results you should contact one of the cam manufacturers and give them the specs of your engine and what kind of driving you will be doing (street/strip, daily driver-occasional track use) and they can give you the specs of a cam that will suit you best.

Right cam for 460
ive got pi heads on my 460 and i have the ford motorsport/racing/whatever they call themselves these days cam M-6250-A460 cam in mine and it idles great. idles down as low as 600, i have it set at about 700, got a hint of a lope to it, stays dead on at 700. i dont have the motor in anything but a test stand now and so i cant tell you power, but it idles real nice. good luck and hope this helps.
