p0340 code

2005 e-150 5.4 v8 60,000 miles getting p0340 engine code camshaft position sensor bank 1. Van runs perfect. I have replaced the sensor with new Motorcraft. I have checked for AC ripple I have .1 volt. This appears to be intermittent but it will turn it on in under a 100 miles.. Any ideas where to check now.

I would check the physical connectors and any visible wiring along the path from the cam sensor back towards the ECM.

It wouldn't be a shock for one or more contacts to be at issue.
