need help with front hubs 44 bearing on a 60 axle?

need help with front hubs 44 bearing on a 60 axle?

I went replace the front wheel bearings in my 79 F-250 Dana 60, it is stamped 60f on the diff, and received the wrong bearings i brought in the bearings and they are listed as a Dana 44 bearing not sure whats is going on here the hubs look like rear hubs and the rear spindle bearing is the same id but the od is much bigger on the front i dont know if some put 44 spindles and rear hubs or if i am just missing something the axle shaft sticks out approximately an inch past hubs ill get pictures up as soon as i can

i found a picture of a IH scout 44 that has the same style front hub is it even possible that could have been put on a 60

I'm not too terribly familiar with the d60 but is it possible the parts house guy mixed it up?

Just take the numbers off the old bearings(located on the outter race lip) and tell them you want to cross reference the numbers..
