Starter Bolts - Thread size ?
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me the thread size on the upper and lower starter bolts on a 2002 F250 w. 7,3
The upper bolt fell out and before I start digging around thought someone might know. Or if they use a series of standard size bolts on these engines..
Thanks

Try calling Ed at FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
If you can't talk directly to Ed one of the people
there should be able to find what you need and
get them ordered for you. They have real Ford parts.
Good prices and fast shipping.

Take one of the remaining bolts to a hardware store and match it up.
Probably either a M8-1.25x41 or a 10mm x 30mm flange-headed bolt, probably the metric equivalent of SAE grade 8. You'll have to determine the thread pitch.
Otherwise, take the bolt to a junkyard and get a bolt from a donor truck or car.
.... Hmmm. Try Ford part number W506510S-437M superseded by W500234-S426 instead.
