2004 f250 Harley davidson

hi everyone
New to the forums but have a question? I have a 2010 f150 super cab xlt but want something bigger for towing the travel trailer. I have the opportunity to pickup a 2004 f250 Harley Davidson crew cab from my grandfather with extended warranty, fifth wheel hitch, and the fifth wheel tailgate for $15000. I found the same truck on aitotrade with the same miles for $22000. I have read a lot about the 6.0l but figure since it is a higher end truck from that year it has been very well taken care of. He got it with around 80000mi on it and has had no problems. It drives great and the exhaust is addicting to listen to. Is there any one on here with the same truck or anyone with an opinion would love to here from you.

Here's my 05 harley. I would go a scan gauge of I were you and test it out 15000 doesn't seem that bad how many miles does he have on it now and how much of the extended warranty is left? I will tell you mine had 94k on it when I bout and I had to do head gaskets at about 97 not to scare you. I love my truck and wouldn't trade it for anything but you need something g to read live data.

Well they did studs new gaskets, stc fitting, standpipe updated turbo drain feed, new oil cooler, new water pumand new radiator hoses that cost me around 5k but I'd imaging just a head stud job would be around 3500 from what I hear. Oh yeah and milled the heads. Truck runs like a champ now but I think it had some neglect from the previous owner. I would start saving for studs if you do by it though

Was all the parts upgraded parts from what was stock in the truck already or did they put oem parts back in it. Did a dealer do it?

Probably both. most people use OEM gaskets and ARP head studs.

My truck is the 2004 f350 Harley, love it and $15k is a steal! Do not pass it up, you will love it. Got a picture?

Same here, everything is done except bigger turbo and injectors.... I'm lining up a Power max.

Just for price comparison,
I bought my 06 F350 XLT Dually LB CC in January for 10,400 wil 226k on it from Texas. The same truck here on Long Island goes for 18,000. 15,000 for the 08 sounds like a solid deal.
