Rear Shackle Brackets

Does anyone have an extra set of rear shackle brackets for a 1950 F-1. They are part number 21C-5775. I've tried Macsauto, Midwest and C&G any they're all out of stock as well as a few other places it seems.

If anyone knows where I could find a pair I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks,

If the 52s are the same I tossed mine in the trash a couple days ago. I can pull them out if you can use them. I have all the pieces, what do you need?

Hey, the 52's will fit. The part I need looks like the one on this site.

Ford - Ford Pickup Truck Shackle Hanger Bracket - F1 | 21C-5775 - Macs Auto Parts

Could you see how much wear they have on them? The ones I'm replacing are pretty thrashed.

Thanks.

I checked the trash and they were the front ones. The rears I removed at work so I could ship the springs to a member. Tossed the a couple months back, sorry.

TruckJunkie,
I have both the front and rear brackets for the rear springs, with shackles that I took off my 48. PM me if you still need them.

Are you looking for the shackles or the frame mounts? I have one set of the frame brackets and the shackles as well. I sold a pair of the frame brackets. Email me if you still need them and specifically what you need.

Send me a PM with your phone number if you want the two frame mounts that I have for sale. I also have two spring shackles, still.

The Ford Illustrated Parts Catalog has a diagram on Page 129 showing the Model C & D diagram which shows the rear spring assembly. This is a "typical" drawing so it is not exactly the same. The part no. "5335 or 5337" on the earlier models (48-50) is actually the frame bracket no. 5775 shown on page 111 of the Model C frame. The two frame brackets I have are the 5775 part no.

OP is working on the REAR spring, not the FRONT spring.

1948/56 Ford Truck Parts catalog on page 129 shows the F1/F100 & F2/F250 FRONT spring.

There is no picture of the REAR spring for 1948/55, the only pic of the REAR spring is for 1956 F100/250 (page 132).

Ford truck parts catalog symbols: C = F1/F100 / D = F2/F250 / J = P350 Parcel Delivery.

Upper pic: Page 129 / Lower pic: Page 132.

NumberDummy,
Ooops! My bad. You are correct. I was in a hurry when I posted the reply and my over 40 mind struck me stupid when I read "front". It told me I was reading rear. My reproduction parts catalog is hard copy so I can't insert illustrations.

Thank you so much for the well deserved correction. Age does horrible things to your brain. My advice is don't get old.

I know all about getting old, as I'll be 71 in September.
