I have 2 kids under 2 and need something more "family friendly". I have a F150 platinum to tow with, so I'm thinking of getting a "square bird". I know everyone says you can't make $ restoring these, but I stand to turn a small profit when it sells. Not much, but enough to make it somewhat worthwhile.

That depends on who's buying it. Although you made it look like a nice driver, the paint is a 20 footer. The average person might wonder why nothing was removed for paint. This brings up questions like "What's he hiding" Paint jobs tell a lot about the condition of the body and the care that went into prepping for paint. The damage to the drivers side fender, bumper and grille, show that the damage was not addressed prior to paint. What else did you put a Band-Aid on? These are questions that I would ask. Some kid might not ask that. So while you hope to make money on this, don't burn the buyer.
Good luck with your sale.
