I know everyone always changes filters every 2nd oil change, but I've never seen em get that dirty.
Heres my secondary after 60,000 km.
I'll post the primary later.







And thats why I never change my filters that frequently. Seems like a waste of money?

I'd have to look back... I know I never changed them last time, but it must have been some garage, not ford. I don't think they're ford filters.

 

Mine always look especially clean too. Also, I have never drained any water out of my lower unit, but still go through the process monthly. Like you, I usually change my fuel filters on a 20,000 mile schedule, unless I go through Illinois. God they have the worst diesel in IL. My truck runs like crap every time I go through there.

 

Mine are always clean too , I still change mine every 10K seeing as how o only put on about 6,000 miles a year , cheap insurance!
