First coolant filter change
Took 1800 miles for the first one to clog, opened it up, and it came out pretty dirty

Cant figure out how to post the photos in the thread, putting them in an album.

Doesn't look to me like it needed to be changed. Had it stopped flowing?









Look at that tiny little discharge hole!!!

that dont look bad.. little bit of grit it looks like in the cartridge but not bad at all.

Yeah, it stopped flowing, so i changed it. i was expecting it to be worse

Getting ready to change mine as well this weekend for the first time. I'll post up my findings after I cut into it.

I just installed the diesel-site coolant filter kit a couple weeks ago, how does one know when the filter is clogged or flow is restricted????

It wont be pushing coolant back through the line into the degas bottle.
