4 speed swap

So I have a 87 or an 89 f250 standard cab long bed with a 460 and a 4 speed. I also have a 91 f250 extra cab long bed with the 460 and a automatic transmission.
I was just curious if the 4 speed will swap into the 91?
Any info would be great, everything I've looked at so far points to yes. I also know I'll have to swap the pedal assembly and everything else thay has to do with the 4 speed. My other question would be about transmission mount, t case, and drivelines and if I would have to swap any of those.
Thanks

Well yeah it'll swap and bolt up to the motor. You'll have to get the driveshafts reworked so they are the correct length though.

The trans will bolt up to the engine and you should be able to make it work. Is the auto you're removing a C6 or an E4od? If it's the E4od then it's controlled by the engine's computer and you'll need to get a computer from either a manual truck or one with a C6 trans as the C6 was not computer controlled. IIRC the last year for the 4speed manual was '87 which was also the last year for carbs on the 460 so your donor truck probably doesn't have the computer you'd need.

There may be a dozen or more things I'm not aware of to make the swap but they should be minor. You should be able to make this work.

The donor truck is an 86
And the 91 does have the e4od.
so the computer I would have to find would need to come out of a truck around my year with the manual trans?

Any OBD I computer for a 460 mated to a manual or C6 should work. 88-91 I think are the years you'd be looking for. You'll want to double check that with a more reliable source than I however.

It'll be a little bit before I get the donor truck here. So I got some time to do some research.
Thanks for your help

Also you will need the 87 to 91 clutch/brake pedal assy. DO NOT get
the 86 assy as it will not fit into the 87 to 91 year dash/steering column brackets.
